Our business starts with, and relies on, dairy farmers supplying high-quality raw milk to our state-of-the-art plants. As a result, we place paramount importance on the origin and properties of milk and whey processing products.

Valfoo’s Quality Assurance Team is dedicated to ensuring that our raw materials and processing standards meet the highest expectations of the food industry and our customers. In addition, independent inspectors from relevant regulatory bodies regularly audit the farms and plants in our network.

From production to consumption, we undertake microbiological analysis to ensure products meet requirements and maintain the highest quality.
To maintain our dedication to quality, we require all our suppliers and partners to be certified to the highest standards. This is our guarantee that we only provide our customers with the purest and highest-quality products.
Since 2012 our products have been certified in accordance with the organic regulations of the European Union, Switzerland and China. The Swiss Organic Certificate is one of the most comprehensive available and applies to our entire range – from raw milk to finished infant formulas. Additionally, we require all suppliers to possess applicable Animal Welfare Certificates showing their commitment to high standards and ethical practices of animal rearing.
Our Melkweg Aarts & Van Haaren and its affiliated Dutch dairy goat farms comply with the COKZ’s guidelines and are in possession of the appropriate EU hygiene regulations certificates for quality milk. All farms affiliated with Melkweg participate in KwaliGeit, which is NGZO’s chain quality assurance system.
